The resort's accommodations feature kitchens in every room, allowing for self-catering alongside on-site dining options such as the Fireside Grill, a Western-style restaurant nearby. Guests can enjoy lakeside activities including free access to kayaks, paddle boats, and stand-up paddleboards, which have been highlighted positively in reviews. Breakfast served by the lake adds to the tranquil rural experience described by visitors.

Located about 30 km from Wells Gray Provincial Park and an eight-minute walk from Hallamore Lake, the resort offers a quiet base for exploring outdoor attractions. If you can get past the road going up to the park,, it’s in our top 5 RV parks.. we didn’t stay in the cabins but they look amazing.. took the free paddle boats out on the lake and it was amazing, great views.. the onsite restaurant was great,, spent our anniversary there and had a nice dinner

Lovely, clean lodge. Beautiful location. Had an excellent evening meal. Staff were great! Spotted hummingbirds, a beaver and the bear! One thing to be aware of if you have hired a vehicle. Although the gravelled track to the resort is well maintained, some car hire companies state the insurance is void if you drive on a gravelled track and run in to problems.

We spent two nights in the cabins. Modern furnishings. Friendly service. Plenty of leisure activities. Good breakfast. Gluten-free too.

We stopped here for 2 nights on our honeymoon in between travelling from Jasper to Whistler. We were very sceptical to what we were going to find down the longest dirt track but were pleasantly surprised and is such a hidden gem! A gorgeous stay and we used the time to chill and kayak on the lake so we didn’t have to go down the road again. We used the breakfast facilities but cooked all the other meals so would recommend getting groceries in Clearwater before heading to the lodges as this is the closest place. Thank you!

Favorite accommodation during our Canada roadtrip! The resort is located in a super calm area near Clearwater and the Wells Gray Provincial Parc right by a small lake. The cabins are cozy and have a nice balcony and kitchen. The best thing: you can rent kayaks, paddle boats, SUPs etc. for free and chill by the lake during the day and even the evening. There are hummingbirds all over the place, the breakfast is served right by the lake, too. It simply feels like a paradise

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way from Jasper to Vancouver. I must admit we weren't sure what we were getting as we headed up the dirt track for several kilometers! However when we arrived it was a revelation to realize such a great resort was hidden here. The cabins were great, very comfortable and everything you need. Views amazing, we even had a bear drop by our cabin which was fantastic. The restaurant was superb and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a little quiet time on your travels which we did!
